Edgar Morin’s work is one of the central intellectual inspirations of the World Humanism Forum.
His thought helps us understand why the crises of our time cannot be approached through fragmented knowledge, isolated disciplines or simplified solutions. It invites us to reconnect what has been separated: the individual and society, knowledge and responsibility, humanity and the living world.
The Forum carries this inspiration into a contemporary and intercultural exploration of Planetary Humanism, education, leadership and action.

A new chapter of dialogue between Europe and the Gulf, inspired by the Renaissance salons of Florence, the Arab Majlis and the historic House of Wisdom in Baghdad.
